About Carl: Following High School, Carl studied for a time at Lawrence Tech and held various jobs in the downriver area. He married in 1970 and had four children: Rebekah (1970, Rachel (1972), Ben (1977) and Sam (1979). Through Rebekah, there are two grandchildren, Ben (1995) and Nikki (2000).

He hired into Ford Motor Company in 1972 and worked at various plants until his retirement from the Saline plant in 2004. During this time, he graduated with an Associates Degree from Washtenaw Community College.

As the scripture says: "man is few days and full of trouble", Carl's first marriage ended in divorce in 1989. But like Joseph of old, Carl was given a promise from God that was fulfilled through his marriage to Roseann in 1992. He and Roseann are living in Ypsilanti, Michigan on Ford Lake. They are active in their church, PineView Church, and are involved in prayer ministry and teaching bible studies. They are also Team Leaders in the church with a ministry for the seniors.

During their marriage, Carl and Roseann have enjoyed travel to places like Israel, Turkey, Greece, Hawaii, Australia, Italy and Switzerland. They have also traveled with their children across the United States to Yellowstone National Park. Now that Roseann is also retired (2009), they look forward to more opportunities to travel and enjoy entertaining friends and family in their home.
