About Cheryl: Cheri went to Harper Hospital School of Nursing and graduated with her Registered Nurse Degree in August 1968. She met her first husband, Fred Hoffman, when he came into the ER with appendicitis. They married the following June. This union was blessed with 3 children; Marcie (Baldwin) a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and mother of 1 boy; Chris Hoffman, a CAD Designer and father of 2 boys, stepfather of 1 girl; and Monica (Gardella) a manager at Lowe's and mother of 2 boys, with a 3rd child due in March 2013.

After working in 2 hospitals, a doctor's office, and industrial nursing, she moved to Arlington, Texas in August, 1978. Cheri was a stay-at-home mom (PTA, Camp Fire Girls) for a few years, then worked for an auctioneer for 5 years. After a divorce in 1989, Cheri went back to nursing and worked in Orthopedics until 1994. She married Charley Davis, an Executive VP at Bell Helicopter in 1993. For the next several years, they traveled to Europe several times, Australia, Canada, and car trips all around the U.S. as well as 7 cruises.

Cheri and Charley have a combined family of 6 children, 13 grandchildren plus 1 due in March 2013, and 5 great grandchildren plus 2 more due in December 2012.

Activities: Cheri loves quilting, crocheting, knitting, reading, and stained glass. She also bowled for 35 years. She is very active in St. Gregory's Episcopal Church in Mansfield, where she serves on the Vestry, sings in the choir, serves on the Finance Committee, and makes the flower arrangements for all church services, including weddings and funerals. She also serves at the Diocesan level, on the Finance Committee, Executive Council, and Convention Delegate.
