About Linda: Linda graduated from Holy Cross Lutheran School before attending Lutheran West. After graduating from high school, she entered Grace Hospital School of Nursing, and graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1969. Over the course of 30 years, she worked at New Grace Hospital, Outer Drive Hospital, Wyandotte Hospital, Annapolis Hospital, and Garden City Hospital. She also worked in a pediatrician's office, and in home health care.

In 1971, Linda married Donald H. Kurth. They have been blessed with 3 wonderful children - Dennis, Michael, and Suzanne. They lived in Lincoln Park for 6 years before buying Linda's paternal grandparents' home in Dearborn Heights, where they presently live. They have 4 grandchildren, ranging in ages from 5-8, and are expecting a 5th grandchild in September, 2012.

Due to severe degenerative disc disease of her neck and lower back, Linda was forced into retirement in September 2000. After 3 years of applying for disability, she was accepted for it, and Don and Linda found a retirement place in Arizona, where they spend the winter months. They are both retired, and the Lord has blessed them with 41 years of marriage.

During the summer months, they spend time with their children & grandchildren. During the winter months in Arizona, Linda enjoys scrapbooking, visiting and playing cards with friends, swimming, and enjoying social activities with other seniors down there.
