About Linda: Linda graduated from William Beaumont School of Radiologic Technology in 1969. She married Jerry Lock on September 13, 1969. They have a daughter, Karyn Lock Bryne, a son, Eric Lock and two granddaughters, Lauren and Megan. Their family has been the center of their lives.

The years since graduation from Lutheran West have been exciting, challenging, fruitful and sometimes exhausting. Linda worked as a radiographer for 22 years, a Lead Radiographer for 8 years while also pursuing catering and party planning. Jerry and Linda also owned and operated a local tavern/restaurant for three years.

In 1999, Linda retired from St. Joseph Health system. She acquired a Builder's License in 1999. Her son, Eric, graduated from ASU's School of Architecture and joined her in a custom home building business. Jerry joined them when he retired from Ford.

While building, she also joined the Board of Directors of the local "Women's Resource Center," where she headed several fundraisers. She loves to give parties and it was rewarding for her to help this wonderful organization!

She also served on the Board of Directors of the local Home Builder's Association and at her local Lutheran church, Shalom.

Linda tells us the last three and a half years have been the most rewarding. She became guardian of her great niece, Raya, who was 2 years old at the time. She has lived with Jerry and Linda for the past three and a half years. The joy and love they have received from her was amazing. She is thankful for the time God has given them to love, teach and care for her. Having said that, she totally understands why women don't give birth when they are older. Raya's mother is now in a position to care for her, so she is transitioning back to her mom and Linda is very happy for them.

Linda is ready to start another chapter in the book of life, hoping the next chapter is slightly quieter than the last. Linda is sure that God laughs when she starts to make plans for the future; He quickly reminds her who is in charge.

Message to Classmates: I am excited about the upcoming reunion. I don't know where the last 40 some years have gone. I think about the great times we had at LHSW and wonder why we didn't stay in touch. I hope God keeps all of you in the palm of his hand until we meet again.
