About Naomi: Graduated from Capital University, Columbus, Ohio in 1970 with a degree in Education. She married shortly after graduation and joined her Marine husband in San Diego, California, for the remainder of his tour. They moved to West Virginia, where Naomi taught at Hurricane Elementary for ten years.
They divorced in 1982. Naomi returned to Columbus, Ohio, where she lived life to its fullest for the next 20 years. She held a variety of challenging jobs: a restaurant manager, sales rep for a major restaurant equipment distributor and a buyer and seller of antiques and collectables. She also married again and divorced again.
Several years ago, Naomi moved to Boca Raton, Florida, "where the weather suits my clothes." Presently she is working in administration at the library of Florida Atlantic University. Diagnosed in 2008 with lung cancer, she survived, thrived and is, for now, cancer free. Every vacation and most weekends are spent with her "forever" fiancé (of 22 years) at their place on Sanibel Island.
Naomi finds Florida to be the ideal place to pursue her interest and hobbies. She enjoys outdoor fairs and festivals, swimming, snorkeling, bargain hunting, Broadway musicals, gardening, cooking and DYI projects.
Message to Classmates: Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Stay healthy, stay happy and "may the odds be ever in your favor."
