About Wanda: Wanda's life ended within hours of her graduation from Lutheran West, killed in an automobile accident. She was eighteen years old. Wanda and some of her friends were at Wanda's house celebrating the graduation immediately after the ceremony at Ford Auditorium. After the party, her father drove her friends to their houses. They were on their way back home when their car was struck by a driver who ran a red light at Southfield and Dix in Lincoln Park at 2:00 am. Wanda and her father were ejected from the vehicle. Two hours later she passed away at Wayne County General Hospital. Wanda was survived by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Hartsell Judkins, three sisters - Bonnie (LHSW '68), Joan, Annette and a brother - Dean.
