About Jeannine: After graduation, Jean attended Eastern Michigan University for 2 years. In 1968, she married Paul Loeber. They had 3 daughters, Lorie Ann, Tammy Lynn and Jolene Renee, before divorcing. After being a housewife for many years, she lacked job skills and fellow classmate, Ed Morris, took her under his wing and she began working in his dental office in Belleville. A year later, she began working in a dental office closer to home.
In 1986, Jean married Don Priebe (LHW 1961) and gained another daughter, Karen Ann. Jean moved from Taylor to Livonia to start married life and a new job - again, another dental office. After approximately 10 years in the dental field, Jean began working in the office at Meadowbrook Congregational Church. Soon, she was on the job hunt again, and took a position as a Customer Service Representative in the Sales Department for Universal Underwriters Insurance Company. When a position became available in the Claims Department, Jean applied for the job and was accepted. A year later, she was promoted to a Physical Damage Claims Adjuster, and retired from that position in January, 2004.
Jean has 2 grandsons, Bradley Michael Witmer and Harris Ward Hubbard III and a granddaughter, Mary Catherine Lucille Winston. She also has a rescue dog, named Virginia and a parakeet - with no name.
Jean and Don own a number of rentals that keep them busy. One in particular brings them much enjoyment and is located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. While sitting on the balcony they watch the ocean/beach and at their leisure, collect seashells, sand dollars, fish, golf and enjoy all the fabulous seafood restaurants in the area.
Jean enjoys reading, quilting, counted cross stitch, needlepoint, crocheting, gardening, traveling, all types of puzzles, baking, eating, driving around in her T-Bird or touring in Don's Model A's.
She has been a member of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, Livonia for 26 years and has participated in their small group Bible studies and bowling league.
